Two disruptions are arriving at once. Artificial intelligence is approaching a genuine intelligence explosion, and the question of unidentified aerial phenomena has moved off the fringe and onto the official record — declassified files, congressional hearings, authenticated military footage. This isn’t a disclosure blog and it isn’t a doom feed. It’s an evidence-based read on a threshold most institutions are still pretending isn’t there: what the record actually shows, why the patterns look the way they do, and how a serious person might position before the disruption rather than scramble after it.
The working stance: the phenomena are real — real recorded events that analysis can’t explain — while what they are stays an open question, labelled as conjecture wherever it appears. The evidence and the speculation never get mixed.

Peter van Velzen is a retired microelectronics engineer (MBA) — Ferranti UK, National Semiconductor, AWA Microelectronics — who spent a career inside how complex systems actually behave rather than how they’re meant to.
